Privacy
Midco takes the privacy of our business customers, their employees and guests seriously. As part of our Content Access and AI Security features, Midco Business Wi-Fi Pro needs to collect the DNS request information (not URLs) to send it to the cloud. The cloud can identify web-based sources that may have potential security risks.
Only requests that are flagged as potentially fraudulent are stored. Additionally, the domains or IPs of those blocked DNS requests are only accessible through the Wi-Fi Pro app and are not viewable by any Midco personnel.
Concierge and Keycard use the DNS requests of popular application types to provide analytics on the applications that are being used by guests and employees.
Privacy Requests
Business owners can make a request for a copy of or the removal of their business location data at any time. This includes information such as their Midco Business Wi-Fi Pro account, network settings and device information.
Guests can also make similar requests regarding their email or social account ID and device information used when accessing a Midco Business Wi-Fi Pro Guest network.
The different types of privacy requests that can be made are found at Midco.com/Legal.
