Many business phone systems include features such as the ability to transfer a call to another person within your business. For Midco customers without an advanced phone system, a call transfer option is available. There is no monthly fee for call transfer.
How to Transfer a Phone Call
Place your first call on hold by pressing and quickly releasing the Flash or receiver button.
After you hear a second dial tone, dial the second phone number.
When the second caller answers, press and quickly release the Flash or receiver button again to connect all callers.
If the second party does not answer or if you get a busy signal, press and release the Flash or receiver button to return to the first caller.
Hang up your line to connect the two other callers and complete the transfer.
