#1 They are streaming ads. 

If you like to stream your favorite shows or movies, chances are you’ve seen CTV ads. CTV is a subset of the streaming world and includes the programs you stream directly to your TV screens. This is with the help of a smart TV, gaming console or streaming device like a Roku or Apple TV.  

There is another category of streaming called over-the-top or OTT. This includes streaming content viewed on TVs, as well as your computer, phone or any other device. So, all CTV is OTT, but not all OTT is CTV.
