Individual wireless modems – gateways – are installed in each unit. One of the many perks of installing Wi-Fi Now at your property is that the modem and router are packaged together in one piece of hardware. Depending on the unit layout, Midco will work with each owner to decide where the equipment should go to optimize Wi-Fi coverage in the unit while being mindful of aesthetics and convenience.
Once a renter moves in, they can sign up to activate their Wi-Fi Now simply by scanning the QR code located on the gateway. This will take them to the Midco Wi-Fi Now connection site. Here they’ll walk through a quick and easy sign-up process, including account creation, selection of desired features and payment. Within minutes, a tenant’s modem is activated, and they have internet access.
