How to use your cellular data network for calls

When Midco Softphone is set up, it defaults to only use a Wi-Fi network to function. To enable the use of your cellular data network for calls:

  • Log in to your softphone
  • Go to Settings
  • Under the Mobile Data Network section, enable Use When Available

The average call uses between 0.5 MB and 1 MB per minute of conversation. However, the amount of data your calls consume depend on a number of technical factors, so your actual usage may differ.
